About Us
We are a blended family of 2 parents (Richard and Marilyn) 7 kids (Richard, Dean, Stacy, Denise, Shane, Dawney, and Kim) from Utah Valley. Although we fought our fair share while growing up- we now have a great time when we get together. As a family we like to go Jeepin' in Moab, getting together at "The Farm", and most of us (excluding Dawney) like camping among other things. The various spouses ,kids, and pets that we have collected along the way are great sports- and humor us rather than make us change who we are together. This blog is actually a tool to keep all of us up to date on the "goings on" within our fam.
This is a list of Birthdays for each month (as I have them in my planner). If I have your birthday wrong please let me know! :) I am missing a few- so I'll check with people and see if I can get them on here! :)

Tied in Time:
A little tattered ribbon, Turned gray with age so fine, To whom it once belonged to, Now only known to Time, Perhaps once used to tie back hair, Or graced the neck of Teddy-Bear, Or tied upon dreamer’s finger, Or gave in hope a love would linger.
Perhaps the world will never know, Why it's laying in the snow. But for now, clutched in my hands, The little ribbon lost to man, Transforms form lowly tattered mess, From that unfit to line birds' nest, To something worth much more than gold. The tattered ribbon, now a bow, Becomes a story, A tale so fine, Long forgotten, Yet tied in Time.

This is one of my favorite pictures so I thought I'd just post it here. :)
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid across the line broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, leaking oil, shouting GERONIMO!"
"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thuderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?" -Jay Leno
